The Hiragana and Katakana posters (I ordered both) have all of the Japanese characters that I need to learn both alphabets. I am going to get matching white and black frames to hang these on my wall so I can learn and memorize all of the characters.
great design and printed on premium quality paper. Thank you.
These are the prettiest kana materials I've seen - I learned hiragana and katakana the old fashioned way with flashcards but I ordered these to have as a decoration in my bedroom.
All I can say is wow. Bought it for my niece for Christmas. Larger than I expected and quality of the printing and material is top-notch.
Not just a poster.... but a WORK OF ART! Am I weird if I like staring at and even touching the poster? It has such a nice feel to it, plus maybe I'm learning by osmosis when touching the characters!?
Shortly before Christmas, I received a notification that my order had been delivered. Not finding it on my doorstep, I emailed customer service. Anthony responded right away to help me with the problem. He verified my order and the shipping address. Problem solved! I forgot that I had sent the order directly to a family member's house for Christmas. I appreciated the prompt and friendly help, especially given that it was so close to the holiday. Also, the posters are wonderful. Thank you so much!
Clearly written, well-organized, great reference for Japanese learners! I got one for me and our son, so he can take it for his college room wall.
This is a really neat poster that I ordered for myself as a uni student taking Japanese. I love how each row is a lesson with characters that go well together for example, te (hand) + kami (paper) = tegami (letter). Really useful for helping learn Kanji compounds. Great job making this.
Got mine today a few days before christmas
Beautiful look in feel and have already begun studying
I am a student who has been studying Japanese for 1 year now. We have just started learning some kanji so this poster is perfect for me. It starts with the common and easy ones and each row is a "lesson" that I can study (one each week). Having this on my wall makes it easy to learn and memorize kanji and their readings. A great tool!
Best of its kind! Easy to follow. The meanings are written large. I have them hanging in my room and I quiz myself before getting ready for work.
I ordered this poster because I’m planning to have a semester abroad in Japan and therefore, I started learning Japanese. I’m very happy with it. I framed it and besides being super helpful for learning its quite decorative as well 🙂 The quality of the paper and print is awesome and it was well packed so it couldn’t get damaged. I can definitely recommend it
amazing; if you want to learn japanese, this will motivate you; the characters are so big, and the english translation is below each of them; so it's almost harder to NOT learn japanese with this behind your desk.
I ordered this for the young Japanese learner in my family and he absolutely loves it! I don't know any Japanese myself but he says that this is a very useful kanji learning and memorization tool since he hangs the poster in his room and can study the characters every day. It doubles as a great wall decal as well even for those who don't know any Japanese.
When I received this poster I loved it so much I decided to frame it. Since coming back from Japan I've been looking for something like this to hang in my house and remind me of the Land of the Rising Sun. I received it quickly and in perfect condition, nicely protected and beautiful quality. So glad I finally found what I was looking for!

King Size - 24" by 36" (61 x 91 cm) laminated, high-quality print with over 300 of the most important kanji, specifically for the Elementary and Intermediate levels. The poster is printed on High Quality 100# Gloss Paper with lamination on both sides, and features a Museum-Grade Matte Finish for extra style and durability.
- Practical - Set a realistic goal of learning the most important kanji first. This will get you well on your way to mastering the entire Japanese language! The poster is structured into 21 lessons, each containing characters that are commonly used together.
- Informative - Along with its pronunciations, each character is listed with its meanings and number of brush strokes, as well as all common readings.
- Decorative - The poster reflects the look and style of "moku hanga", or woodblock printing, a Japanese artistic style, and adds a touch of sophistication to any room in the house, office, or classroom.
- Write on it - The Genki Kanji Poster is laminated, so you may mark it up as you wish with any dry-erase marker to practice writing the characters. The marker can be wiped off anytime.
The SUPER-SIZED, 24" x 36" (61 x 91 cm) Genki Kanji Poster is a fun, aesthetically-pleasing alternative to textbook studying. The high quality print contains over 300 of the most important Japanese kanji characters, presented on a fully textured poster that is meant to replicate the look and style of "moku hanga", or woodblock printing, a printing technique that has been used in artistic creations for centuries in Japan.
The kanji on the poster are mostly the same ones students encounter within some of the most popular Japanese textbooks. How can you learn Japanese from a poster, you ask? In addition to listing the characters, the poster includes all common pronunciations, meanings, okurigana (accompanying characters), and a number of brushstrokes, as well as dividing the kanji into 21 well-structured lessons. In addition, the poster is laminated, so feel free to mark it up with dry-erase markers!
Not only do students in Japan spend many years learning kanji, they are also exposed to the complex characters every waking moment. Japanese learners outside of Japan unfortunately do not have this advantage. With the Genki Kanji Poster situated above your desk or any other place you spend a lot of time at, you can repeatedly expose your mind to kanji to help master newly learned characters and maintain long-term retention of all the other kanji you have studied. You could never do the same with a thick textbook!
